डोईवाला। हिमालयन कॉलेज ऑफ नर्सिंग, जौलीग्रांट और ट्रेन्ड नर्सेस एसोसिएशन ऑॅफ इंडिया (टीएनएआई) की उत्तराखंड शाखा ने नर्सिंग लीडरशिप पर राज्य स्तरीय दो दिवसीय सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया। इसमें शिक्षा और अनुसंधान के माध्यम से नर्सिंग पेशेवरों को सशक्त बनाने पर मंथन किया गया।
स्वामी राम हिमालयन विश्वविद्यालय (एसआरएचयू) परिसर स्थित आदि-कैलाश सभागार में टीएनएआई उत्तराखंड शाखा और हिमालयन कॉलेज ऑफ नर्सिंग (एसआरएचयू) के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में प्रथम राज्य स्तरीय सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया।
इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि एसआरएचयू के अध्यक्ष डॉ. विजय धस्माना ने कहा कि रोगियों की देखभाल में नर्सिंग का महत्वपूर्ण स्थान है। उन्होंने कहा शिक्षा और अनुसंधान के माध्यम से क्लिनिकल नर्सिंग को और बेहतर बनाया जा सकता है। इससे हम ऐसे नर्सिंग कौशल का निर्माण कर सकते हैं जो नवाचार के प्रयोग से नर्सिंग देखभाल अलग स्तर पर ले जाए।
यूकेएनएमसी की रजिस्ट्रार डॉ. मनीषा ध्यानी, राष्ट्रीय उप महासचिव टीएनएआई संगमित्रा सावंत, टीएनएआई उत्तराखंड शाखाध्यक्ष डॉ. ललिता बिष्ट ने गुणवत्तापूर्ण देखभाल को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए शिक्षा और अनुसंधान के माध्यम से नर्सों को सशक्त बनाने पर जोर दिया।
हिमालयन कॉलेज ऑफ नर्सिंग की प्रिंसिपल डॉ. संचिता पुगाजंडी ने कहा कि शिक्षक के रूप में हम भविष्य के ऐसे नर्सिंग नेतृत्व को तैयार करने के लिए समर्पित हैं जो रोगी देखभाल को बदल देंगे।
उत्तराखंड टीएनआई शाखा सचिव डॉ. राजेश कुमार शर्मा ने बताया कि उत्तराखंड, हरियाणा, राजस्थान, पंजाब, दिल्ली, यूपी और हिमाचल प्रदेश से करीब 346 प्रतिनिधि सम्मेलन में शामिल हुए।
इस अवसर पर कुलपति डॉ. राजेन्द्र डोभाल, प्रति-कुलपति डॉ. अशोक देवरारी, निदेशक नर्सिंग डॉ. रेनू धस्माना सहित नर्सिंग कॉलेज की फैकल्टी व प्रतिभागी उपस्थित रहे।
*क्लिनिकल व लाईफटाइम अचिवमेंट पुरस्कार से सम्मानित*
सम्मेलन में क्लिनिकल पुरस्कार से डॉ. सिल्विया राजकुमारी देवी, डॉ. राकेश शर्मा, डॉ. प्रसुना जैली, डॉ. ग्रेस मैडोना सिंह, जैबुनिशां व सुधा तिवारी को सम्मानित किया। वहीं डॉ. संचिता पुगाजंडी, माया बिष्ट, रंजना वालिया, सुमन लता पाठक, अनुराधा शर्मा को नर्सिंग में उल्लेखनीय कार्य करने के लिए लाईफ टाईम अचिवमेंट अवार्ड दिया गया।

*Conference on Nursing Leadership at Himalayan College of Nursing, Jollygrant*
*- Discussion on empowering nursing professionals through education and research*
*- 346 representatives from five states attended the conference*
Doiwala. Himalayan College of Nursing, Jollygrant and Uttarakhand branch of Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI) organized a state level two-day conference on Nursing Leadership. In this, brainstorming was done on empowering nursing professionals through education and research.
The first state level conference was organized under the joint aegis of TNAI Uttarakhand branch and Himalayan College of Nursing (SRHU) in Adi-Kailash Auditorium located in Swami Ram Himalayan University (SRHU) campus.
On this occasion, Chief Guest SRHU President Dr. Vijay Dhasmana said that nursing has an important place in the care of patients. He said that clinical nursing can be further improved through education and research. With this, we can build such nursing skills that take nursing care to a different level by using innovation.
UKNMC Registrar Dr. Manisha Dhyani, National Deputy General Secretary TNAI Sangamita Sawant, TNAI Uttarakhand Branch President Dr. Lalita Bisht emphasized on empowering nurses through education and research to advance quality care.
Himalayan College of Nursing Principal Dr. Sanchita Pugajandi said that as teachers, we are dedicated to preparing future nursing leaders who will transform patient care.
Uttarakhand TNAI Branch Secretary Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma said that about 346 delegates from Uttarakhand, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, Delhi, UP and Himachal Pradesh attended the conference.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr. Rajendra Dobhal, Vice Chancellor Dr. Ashok Devrari, Director Nursing Dr. Renu Dhasmana along with faculty and participants of nursing college were present.
*Honored with clinical and lifetime achievement award*
Dr. Sylvia Rajkumari Devi, Dr. Rakesh Sharma, Dr. Prasuna Jelly, Dr. Grace Madonna Singh, Jaibunisha and Sudha Tiwari were honored with clinical award in the conference. Dr. Sanchita Pugajandi, Maya Bisht, Ranjana Walia, Suman Lata Pathak, Anuradha Sharma were given lifetime achievement award for their remarkable work in nursing.
