*यातायात जागरूकता कार्यक्रम में छात्रों को किया गया जागरूक – श्री सेमवाल, यातायात प्रभारी ने दी महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी और नियमों की समझ*

ओंकारानंद इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ़ मैनेजमेंट एंड टेक्नोलॉजी, ऋषिकेश में आज एक यातायात जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर मुनिकीरेती क्षेत्र के यातायात प्रभारी श्री सेमवाल ने विशेष रूप से छात्रों को सड़क सुरक्षा एवं यातायात नियमों के पालन के प्रति प्रेरित किया।
अपने संबोधन में श्री उमादत्त सेमवाल ने छात्रों को महत्वपूर्ण यातायात नियमों की जानकारी दी: दोपहिया वाहन चलाते समय हेलमेट पहनना अनिवार्य है। चार पहिया वाहन में सीट बेल्ट का उपयोग आवश्यक है। वाहन चलाते समय मोबाइल फोन का उपयोग नहीं करना चाहिए। तेज़ गति से वाहन न चलाएं और गति सीमा का पालन करें। सड़क पर पैदल यात्रियों को प्राथमिकता दें। नशे की हालत में वाहन न चलाएं। सड़क संकेतों और ट्रैफिक लाइट्स का पालन करें। ओवरलोडिंग और ट्रिपल राइडिंग से बचें।
उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि हमारा क्षेत्र संवेदनशील है जहाँ यातायात का दबाव अधिक रहता है, ऐसे में सभी को ज़िम्मेदारी के साथ वाहन चलाना चाहिए ताकि हम स्वयं और अन्य लोग सुरक्षित रहें। श्री सेमवाल ने अपने संबोधन में छात्रों को बताया कि ट्रैफिक नियमों का पालन करना न केवल कानूनी बाध्यता है, बल्कि यह हमारी सुरक्षा के लिए भी अत्यंत आवश्यक है। उन्होंने ‘मित्र पुलिस’ की अवधारणा को समझाते हुए कहा कि पुलिस का उद्देश्य सहयोग करना है, भय उत्पन्न करना नहीं। उन्होंने कहा कि “नियमों का पालन करने से दुर्घटनाओं की संख्या में निश्चित रूप से कमी आती है।”
कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ संस्थान के निदेशक डॉ. प्रवीण कुमार राठी द्वारा किया गया। उन्होंने श्री उमादत्त सेमवाल को पुष्पगुच्छ भेंट कर सम्मानित किया और छात्रों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा, “ट्रैफिक नियमों का पालन करना आज की सबसे बड़ी आवश्यकता है। आप सभी छात्र देश का भविष्य हैं और आपकी जागरूकता समाज में बदलाव ला सकती है। कहा, “छात्र किसी भी राष्ट्र की रीढ़ होते हैं। यदि वे आज से ही ट्रैफिक नियमों के पालन का संकल्प लें, तो कल एक सुरक्षित भारत का निर्माण संभव होगा।” उन्होंने दोपहिया वाहनों पर बिना हेलमेट चलने की प्रवृत्ति की निंदा करते हुए युवाओं से इसे गंभीरता से लेने का आह्वान किया।
कार्यक्रम में बड़ी संख्या में छात्र-छात्राओं की उपस्थिति रही। छात्रों ने यातायात से जुड़े अनेक प्रश्न पूछे जिनका उत्तर देकर श्री सेमवाल ने उनकी जिज्ञासाओं का समाधान किया।

A traffic awareness program was organized today at Omkaranand Institute of Management and Technology, Rishikesh. On this occasion, Shri Semwal, Traffic Incharge of Muni Ki Reti area, especially motivated the students to follow road safety and traffic rules.
In his address, Shri Umadatt Semwal informed the students about important traffic rules: Wearing a helmet is mandatory while driving a two-wheeler. Use of seat belt is necessary in a four-wheeler. Mobile phone should not be used while driving. Do not drive at high speed and follow the speed limit. Give priority to pedestrians on the road. Do not drive in a drunken state. Follow road signs and traffic lights. Avoid overloading and triple riding.
He also told that our area is sensitive where traffic pressure is high, in such a situation everyone should drive responsibly so that we ourselves and others remain safe. In his address, Mr. Semwal told the students that following traffic rules is not only a legal obligation, but it is also extremely necessary for our safety. Explaining the concept of ‘Mitra Police’, he said that the purpose of the police is to cooperate, not to create fear. He said that “following the rules definitely reduces the number of accidents.”
The program was inaugurated by the Director of the Institute, Dr. Praveen Kumar Rathi. He honored Mr. Umadatt Semwal by presenting a flower bouquet and while addressing the students, said, “Following traffic rules is the biggest need today. All of you students are the future of the country and your awareness can bring change in the society. He said, “Students are the backbone of any nation. If they pledge to follow traffic rules from today itself, then it will be possible to build a safe India tomorrow.” Condemning the trend of riding two-wheelers without helmets, he called upon the youth to take it seriously.
A large number of students were present in the program. The students asked many questions related to traffic, which Mr. Semwal answered and resolved their curiosity.
